Band bio from 2003:
“Anal Thunder is probably the heaviest drinking band in Finland. Besides that they play melodic punk rock in the vein of Vandals and the likes and have a reputation of a great live band.
Their history dates back to 1997 and the first release was a 7” in 1999 called “Greetings From Uranus”. After that they had a few songs on several compilations (they got ripped -off $125 by Random Records (USA), by the way) before a 9 -song CD debut “Will Fuck For Crack” in late 2000, which is still available.
By a twist of luck, in early 2001 they got hooked up with NYC’s infamous drinkers, No Redeeming Social Value, who they shared a split 7″ with on Kidney Records. That’s an Europe only release (wonder why they sell it in Interpunk, Rick?).
Anal Thunder’s newest effort, a 6 song MCD with enhanced video, is gonna be out in November 2003 on Hell’s Tone Records (ex-Kidney Records), right before their tour in Eastern Europe.”
